Mugwort has a bitter flavor with a subtle anise taste. In plant medicine, it is used to soothe menstrual cramps, regulate periods, high blood pressure and more.
Mugwort is commonly referred to as the "Dream Tea" due to its incredible ability to amplify your dreams. If you have a hard time remembering your dreams, mugwort will help you recall them in great detail.
If you already remember your dreams, mugwort can help you lucid dream, or be aware you are dreaming while in the dream.
It is the ideal herb to do deep dream work and journeys into the subconscious. Intention is everything when using this powerful herb. In ceremony, it is burned to promote communication from your guides.
To drink: Add 1-2 teaspoons of tea leaves to a cup of hot water. Allow it to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Strain and enjoy! Note: The longer you allow it to infuse, the stronger/bitter it will taste!
For intention: Add a pinch of the herb to fire or lit charcoal. Set your intention and breathe deep. Alternatively, it can be smoked in a pipe.
